Combat

A battle between Innoxia and Brax.

As to be expected in most RPG games, the player character will eventually have to defend themself from an enemy combatant.

In Lilith's Throne, combat is non-lethal and turn-based, meaning time will effectively freeze as you, the player, consider what actions the player character should perform. This is the 'planning' phase of the battle. If one decides they want to reconsider their plan, they can press the 'Reset' button to un-select their actions.

You could walk away from the computer in the middle of combat, go get a coffee, walk the dog, wash the car, talk to your friends, eat lunch, take a shower, then come back to Lilith's Throne to see that no time whatsoever has passed!

Each combatant can use any 'move' they know how to perform, which are actions that can be used in combat. All moves cost an additional 1 AP to use in combat, and will suffer a +1 turn cooldown.

Thankfully, each combatant can equip to up 8 core moves, which do not suffer from the aforementioned penalties.

Examples: Strike (a the target with your main weapon), Flash (cast the spell 'Flash' at the target), and Block (an incoming attack, reducing the 'damage' you suffer from it).

Once the player has decided what actions– if any– they should perform, they can press the 'End Turn' button to actually perform said actions. Then, other combatants will perform the actions they selected, and time will freeze once more and the player will be able to select another set of actions. This process will continue until only combatants on one 'team' remains (for example, the enemies have succsessfully flees the battle) or all combatants on a team have been defeated.

Stats

Health represents a character's energy and determination. When it reaches 0, the character will be too exhausted to continue fighting.

Lust represents how desparate for sexual interactions the character is. At 100, they will either collaspe due to lust, or enter a vulnerable state where anything which would increase their Lust instead decreases their Health and Aura.

Aura represents the amount of magical power a character has. It is used to cast spells.

Elemental Damage is the amount of harm one can inflict with an action. It comes in 5 different flavors; physical, fire, cold, poison, and lust. Casting an 'Ice Shard' spell or attacking with an Ice weapon will inflict Cold damage, while casting a Fireball spell will inflict Fire damage.

Elemental Shielding is how capable of resisting pain a character is. Like Elemental Damage, it also comes in 5 flavors. For example, a character with lots of Physical Shielding will not be so damaged by an attack which deals Physical Damage.

Targets

Sometimes, there may be more than one combatant on each side of the conflict. There are two 'Target' buttons, the green one sets your target for beneficial actions, and the red one sets your target for harmful actions.

AP

AP is an abbrevation of Alphasigmaticalmathamaticalmethamaticalactionizationalizedperformance Pointsofinterestwithinasemienclosedspacewithacircumfuranceofatleastsixkilometers.

Each combatant has 3 AP, and each action requires AP to be selected. AP is restored to full at the end of each turn.

Options

In addition to their moves, a character can submit to the enemies or escape the conflict. They may also use an item from their inventory at the cost of 1 AP.

Inventory

As of v0.3.4.5, items can only be used by their user.

Clothes and weapons can not be managed during combat.
