Personality

Your personality will have a minor influence in some situations. It will not lock out any options during the game, and is more for roleplaying purposes.

Personality traits are characteristics used to make characters seem more unique. It alters their dialogue, speech, and the way they act. At present, all traits are for cosmetic/roleplaying purposes only. In the future, they may give a non-cosmetic effect.

As of v0.3.9.8α, there are 15 personality traits to choose from. Be aware that some are mutually exclusive.

Speech Traits

The following traits effect a character's speech and dialogue.

Unless otherwise stated, all speech traits conflict with mute.

You speak with a lisp, pronouncing 's' and 'z' as 'th'.

All of your in-game speech will be affected by this!

Stutter

You have a habit of stuttering and stumbling over your words as you speak.

Slovenly

You speak in a very slovenly manner; dropping syllables and with poor pronunciation, your speech can often be very hard to understand.

Mute

You are a mute, and while you can make some lewd noises when in the grips of passion, you are otherwise completely unable to speak.

All of your in-game speech will be removed!

When creating a new character in any version between 0.3.4.9α and 0.3.5.1α, one of the choices is 'personality'. There are five traits, and each trait has three levels (low, average, and high) to pick from.

Upon being loaded into version 0.3.5.1α or higher, a character's outdated personality data will be updated.


Adventurousness


This reflects the level of creativity, imagination, and curiosity in a person. It is an indicator of how willing a person is to try out new things or take risks.

Neuroticism

How prone this character is to experiencing unpleasant emotions, such as anxiety, frustration, fear, and loneliness. Neurotic characters are often shy, lack emotional stability, and suffer from low control over their impulses.

For some, Confident is replaced with Shy.
